Pricewaterhouse Coopers donate 2 new bivvy bags.

PricewaterhouseCoopers donates two new bivvy bags to SARDA.

PricewaterhouseCoopers have donated two new waterproof bivvy bags to SARDA IOM to help keep the 'bodies' dry through the Manx winter. The bags allow the bodies to lie up in often poor weather conditions for the dogs to find, as call outs are much more likely in bad weather and this makes the training far more realistic.

A huge thank you to Pricewaterhouse Coopers and there donation is very much appriecated.

A huge thank you to the pupils of St Ninians High school who have bought glow sticks at school events which has paid for a years supply of glow sticks for the dogs.
Also a thank you to Miss Whitham a teacher at St. Ninans who donated money to the search dogs instead of sending Christmas cards this year.

Isle of Man Steam Packet Company

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company are a vital donor to SARDA Isle of Man. The benifits of travelling to the likes of Wales to train with other Search Dogs groups is hugely important as on the Island we can be very isolating in terms of training.

The Steam Packet company have provided us with 5 free return boat trips off the Island and a large discount rate after that per year.

One of our largest out goings in the past has been on travel and the Steam Packets very kind offer is truely fantasic to relocate funds to vital for kit and equipment.

These boat trips mean that we can attend invaluable training excerises with other SARDA teams and will make a huge difference to SARDA Isle of Man. A very warm thanks indeed.

Bank of Scotland International

Bank of Scotland International gave us a very generous donation of £250 and the promise of a dress down day within the Isle of Man branch to help boost our funds as well.
Thank you very much to everyone involved.

Isle of Man Coastguard

In 2004 the IOM Coastguard generously provided the Team with protective clothing and 2 survival/dry suits for our bodies to wear when we train for low tide and cliff searches. They have also assisted us with the loan of some VHF communications equipment for our bodies. Thanks to Colin Finney, Chief Coastguard, Mac MacDonald, Sector Manager North and Phil Adams, Sector Manager South.
